A New Chapter
Since purchasing With the Grain in 2020, I (Erin) have been hard at work in the bakery along with our amazing team of bakers and front counter staff.
The pandemic certainly threw us all for a loop, but like so many in the retail and food sector, we hunkered down, doubled our health and safety standards, and continued serving delicious goods to the public.
Over the past few years I've been learning everything about With the Grain’s heritage recipes, while adding a few new recipes, and working on passion projects of my own.
I am a career restaurateur and have always had a passion for good food. I believe in the fine details, and in paying attention to the nuances of flavour. I love to put together recipes that create food addictions (no apologies) for my patrons. Throughout my career, customer care and quality service has always been top priority for me. One of the reasons I chose hospitality as a field is that it allows me to work closely with people and I get to offer experiences that put smiles on peoples' faces. Good food is a foundational part of so many great memories and it's such an honour when our products get to be part of those experiences.
