Kitchen Staff

4 shifts/week

Weekday and weekend availability required

Start Date:  May 2012

At WtG we consider our Kitchen Staff to be instrumental in ensuring our guests receive fresh and delicious food. Their consistent and detail-oriented efforts are appreciated by staff and customers alike!

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, plating and packaging sandwiches, soups and salads for in-house, take-out or catering
  • Cooking to order for hot menu items using Panini grill, stove top
  • General food and vegetable prep for established menu items
  • Tasting products throughout the day to ensure quality and freshness
  • Cleaning, stocking and sanitation
  • Occasional dishwashing shift

Ideal Kitchen Staff at WtG:

  • Work consistently and stay focused
  • Are organized and have a keen attention to detail
  • Enjoy working hard in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a customer-focused approach
  • Communicate effectively and positively under pressure
  • Enjoy working productively within the team, but also thrive independently
  • Have previous experience with cooking or working in a professional kitchen
  • Are comfortable describing, tasting and learning about food
  • Can stand and walk throughout their shift and regularly lift up to 20lbs
